Suggest A Program
Please read the following Rules & Regulations for Suggesting A Program before filling out the form below.
If you find that we don’t offer a specific program that you would like to see, you may suggest a new program below. For more information, please contact Sheila Algava, either by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 732-671-3700, ext. 333.
Apply to Present a Program:
We present many different programs at the library. Library sponsored programs are publicized on the library website, in the media, and in library print publications. If you are interested in sharing your expertise or talent with our community, please use the form below for adult programs. Contact Ellie Strbo, email@example.com, (732) 671-3700 ext. 358 for children’s and teen programs. Applicants will be notified about the status of their proposal within six (6) weeks. Programs are scheduled after being approved by the library.
Programs that involve the sale of goods or services, or whose sole purpose is to promote and/or sell the goods or services of a business or organization, are prohibited with the exception of authors, artists and musicians who shall be permitted to sell copies of their works at the conclusion of their program. Library programs must provide a public-minded message, deliver a true community service in their presentations, and avoid providing “commercial advantage” to any particular person or business. MTPL reserves the right to decline or limit such presentations.
Library meeting rooms are also available for use or rent by the community for private meetings of an informational, educational, cultural, or civic nature, subject to the terms and conditions of the Meeting Rooms Policy as established by the Library Board of Trustees. See Reserve a Room (located on the front page under the “Get Started” menu) for additional information and rates.
