MTPL @ Home
The Middletown Township Public Library Staff has created this page while the library is closed during COVID-19. This page will include our virtual events, escape rooms, digital resources, staff recommendations for digital content, our chat service and much more. Check out our Youtube page to see our new videos that will be posted weekly. We will also be posting content to our Facebook and Twitter daily.
Staff will be creating things like digital content recommendations, instructions for crafts, ideas for things to do from home and sharing resources for free online activities and enrichment. We hope to do our best to provide as much content as we can during this difficult time.
Our Digital Collections are available 24/7 with your Middletown Public Library Card. If you currently do not have a library card and want to request a digital library card, click here. This includes eBooks, streaming movies, tv and music, digital comics, and downloadable audiobooks. Check out our Digital Resources page for more details and access.
Check our social media, this webpage or signup for our weekly email newsletter for updates.

Help us count the birds! We are asking Middletown residents to help track the wildlife in our neighborhoods by counting the birds you see from your yard or outside your window. This program is intended to count birds that are living alongside people in urban and suburban neighborhoods, so make sure to observe from your own backyard, porch, or patio. Our goal is for our community to complete 50 different observations. If you post the pictures online, don’t forget to tag us on Facebook @MiddletownPL or on Instagram @MiddletownlibraryNJ using #mtplcitizenscience.

How well do you know your library website and all the online resources available to you just by having a library card? What about without a library card? You have until Tuesday April 28th, 2020 to complete the scavenger hunt and submit your answers.
