
Hemp Jewelry Making for Teens and ‘Tweens
Teens and ‘Tweens (ages 11+) are invited to attend a hemp jewelry making workshop at Middletown Main Library on June 29th, from 3:00-4:30 p.m. in the library’s Teen Zone. Building Block Workshop for Teens and Tweens
Teens and tweens are invited to bring their own building blocks: K-nex, Lego, etc. to create original and unique creations. Middletown Main Library's Teen Zone will be the site of the event, which will be held on Monday June 28th, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Light refreshments served. For ages 11+. Nutrition and Healthy Eating For Teens and ‘Tweens
Registered Dietitian Mary Higgins of Meridian Health will conduct a Nutrition and Healthy Eating Program for teens and ‘tweens ages 11+ on Wednesday, June 23rd, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. Healthy and tasty snacks will be provided by Whole Foods of Middletown. How many boardwalks are there? Do other states have boardwalks? Are they all made of wood? What is the most famous boardwalk? These and many other questions will be addressed in a 45-minute presentation hosted by Dick Handschuch and Sal Marino in a fun and memorable presentation on the boardwalks of New Jersey. Referring to themselves as “two old beach bums,” retired educators, Handschuch and Marino’s presentation will take place at Middletown Main Library on Wednesday, July 28th, at 7:30 p.m. They are also authors of “The Beach Bum’s Guide to the Boardwalks of New Jersey.”
