Monday Movie Series - Magnificent Marilyn: More than a Sex Symbol

She was great-looking, alluring and funny. Yet there was more to Marilyn Monroe than a dumb-blonde bombshell as she was typecast in the 1950s. Since then, she has evolved into an icon and been acclaimed as a gifted comedian and actress. Join us for five Monday evening doses of essential Monroe, with intros by host Victor Zak. The lineup includes "Gentlemen Prefer Blondes" (1953), "The Seven Year Itch" (1955), "Bus Stop" (1956), "The Prince and the Showgirl" (1957), and "Some Like It Hot" (1959).
